Widows raising their children (up to 18 year olds), grandmothers raising their grandchildren (up to 18 years olds), aunties raising their orphaned nieces/nephews (up to 18 years old).

Helping caregivers grow businesses while meeting their families’ food and school needs.
The work
We assist widows with children and also grandparents with grandchildren in businesses where they can learn to be self-sustaining. We train them in financial management and how to pay it forward in ways of caring for their neighbours too.
Charitable purpose
While the families are growing their businesses, we continue to support with food and school needs - ensuring the families can still eat and the children are still educated. With the businesses and financial management, it helps to create independence and self-worth and pride. As their businesses grow, we may only need to help with either just food or just school needs - until they can become fully self-sustaining.
